The Dallas Cowboys held eight selections in the much-anticipated 2024 NFL Draft on April 25. Their first round pick being down the line at No. 24. The Dallas Cowboys are set to play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The Rams are defending Super Bowl champions but have yet to play like repeat winners. Matthew Stafford, Rams quarterback and Highland Park native, may be overconfident in his offensive line.

Stafford has been taking too long to locate his targets on the field, even throwing six interceptions during his first game of the season against Buffalo and another four during his second game against Atlanta.

Cowboys fans experienced a whirlwind of emotions during the Week 3 game against the New York Giants on Sept. 26. This was the first game of the season that the ‘Boys have had to play against a fellow NFC East team, and the second game without starting quarterback Dak Prescott. Despite that, fans and the team, Prescott included, only showed love for backup quarterback Cooper Rush.

Speaking of love, a short video detailing the history of the deep-rooted rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants played before the game started, highlighting that there is “love and hate” between the teams as the video showcased good sportsmanship and fights that have broken out between the two teams over the years.

Rams take Super Bowl LVI

The 2022 Super Bowl marks the second consecutive year the home team will not only play in the Super Bowl but win it as well. With a shock to the world, Tom Brady announced on Feb. 1 that last year's Super Bowl win in Tampa would be his last. Now without an obvious winner, who would people root for? The Heisman winning quarterback led underdogs from Cincinnati or LA’s dynamic legion of athletes?

Despite failed trick plays and two interceptions, it was ultimately the Los Angeles Rams who prevailed in the last few minutes of the game to make them the ultimate hometown heroes. Not only to LA but to Dallas as well with the notable alumni position held by QB Matthew Stafford, graduate of Highland Park High School.

Cowboys back on track with colossal defeat of Atlanta

The Dallas Cowboys beat the Atlanta Falcons in a major win at home on Nov. 14 by 40 points.

Fans felt an emotional high from the game against the Patriots, anxiety ridden over their game opposing the Vikings, distraught from a terrible loss versus the Broncos but the Boys were back to stun fans with a colossal win against the Falcons. And with a final score of 43-3, it was colossal.

Cowboys winning streak comes to an end against Denver

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a devastating loss at AT&T Stadium after their face off against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 7.

Dak Prescott was back in the game against the Broncos. Immediately following the kickoff, running back Tony Pollard carried the ball from his own end zone all the way past the 50-yard line. . It was a tremendous start for the Cowboys at home, but that type of energy just wasn’t repeated by Dallas until the last quarter.

Trick or treat? Dak Prescott’s temporary replacement definitely a treat

The Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback, Dak Prescott, was sidelined during the week 8 NFL game against the Minnesota Vikings, leaving Cooper Rush to fill in as the backup quarterback.

Cowboys fans waited in anticipation for this Sunday night game as the team pondered whether Prescott would play or not. “I hope Dak plays. I think the Cowboys have a good shot. As a Cowboys fan, it’s fun to see them doing well,” Clayton Kershaw, pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Dallas native, said before the game.
