The Richland Theater Department continues to impress as it wins more awards, showcasing the talent of students and directors alike. One of the Richland students received recognition for having gave the Funniest Performance, and a couple of other students made it to the finals in their individual competitions. The Richland Campus Theater Department has been well-known in the theater community for some time, their quality performances in competitions and entertainment venues winning them awards and recognition locally and nationally. Most recently the theater department competed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in the American College Theater Festival, and after some deliberation on the Select Committee’s part, the Richland Campus’s production of “Self-Injurious Behavior” was selected as a finalist.
