"Lethal Weapon" (1987) This great Richard Donner-directed tale, which takes place during the holidays, finds Mel Gibson’s Martin Riggs dealing with emotional issues and suicidal tendencies. Danny Glover plays his police officer partner, Roger Murtaugh. They share great chemistry together. Gary Busey is also outstanding as Mr. Joshua, the main bad guy.
