More wins for ‘Self-Injurious Behavior’

The Richland production of “Self-Injurious Behavior” by Jessica Cavanagh has received more national accolades. Theater Professor Andy Long made the announcement Friday on Facebook. The production received seven individual national commendations from the Kennedy National

Commendations given by the Kennedy Center to accompany the three Company Commendations the cast received in April, including:
• Distinguished Achievement in Performance — Azucena Madrigal, Kendra Bailey and Jillian Villegas (the three actors who portrayed the three sisters)
• Distinguished Achievement in Scenic Design for Osborne Scott
• Distinguished Achievement in Sound Design for Jennifer Owen
• Distinguished Achievement in Lighting Design for Noah Allen
• Distinguished Achievement in Properties Crafts for Professor Long and student co-designer Milton Garcia.
Professor Long said he was “proud of the work we do at Dallas College.”
